Access and users

  • How many levels of security are required for login?
    Initially, you have access to your portal with your username/password. Subsequently, you will have access to Primmo with your second username/second password.
  • Are the accesses the same for the modules?
    For Primmo, nothing changes; access management to the software remains the same.
  • Can we have a report showing the number of user accesses and the allocated time?
    There is a user activity report available on the portal that shows the time at which the user accessed the portal. Additionally, in Primmo, you will find a report on user login and logout sessions.
  • Can we limit or restrict user access periods to the Primmo portal?
    No, not at the moment. There is a "login/logout session" access report available to the administrator for all user profiles on their Primmo Cloud.

  • What will happen to the files linked to the Hopem-Primmo database?
    These files (logos, signatures, images, videos, documents) will need to be moved to the Cloud hosting.
  • How much disk space will each user have at their disposal?
    Each user is allocated 5GB of disk space.
  • Does document printing work on our equipment?
    Yes.
  • Is it possible to clean up Primmo software data before migration?
    Yes, but it's not necessarily required. The cleanup could be performed after migration.

Compatible Software

  • Is it possible to integrate other software, interfaces, and/or applications with Primmo?
    We evaluate each case individually.
  • Will users have access to Word/Excel from the Cloud, or can it only be used locally on their PC?
    The Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel) is replaced by Libre Office in the hosted environment. If users want to use Word/Excel or Outlook, they can use the locally installed version on their respective computers.
  • Is it the same for Outlook?
    Indeed, the web version can be used if the client uses Office 365.
  • Regarding Outlook, how does the email function work in your system? Can we use our own provider's settings, or are we required to use your settings, thus having to manage two email sources?
    It depends on the current configuration; we can verify by confirming from a user's workstation where it is set up. For it to work in the hosted environment, we recommend solutions like Microsoft Office 365 / Google (Gmail/Workspace) / Any hosted SMTP service.

Work Sessions

  • How does the connection to the hosted solution work?
    Users generally use an icon placed on their desktop, which is a preconfigured RDP connection. An access guide is sent to them after installation or migration.
  • Can we open two sessions to run Primmo software twice?
    No. However, you can open two Primmo sessions within the same cloud session; If you open a 2nd session under the name of a user already present, the first session closes and becomes part of the previously opened session. This causes a SECURITY BREACH IN PRIMMO, as the second user takes control of the already open Primmo session without having to provide their Primmo user code or password.
  • For our employees in Europe, what are the upgrade hours relative to the time difference?
    A communication is sent before Hopem proceeds with the upgrade.
  • Is it possible to add named users?
    Yes, a submission is then produced, and the monthly price is adjusted.
  • What about the user account management console and password reset?
    Hopem's technical department is responsible for all these operations with full access to perform them.
  • Will the service plan be indexed next year?
    Yes, the service plan will be indexed at the renewal date.

Technical Aspects 

  • Is the Primmo server reserved for each of the Primmo clients?
    No, no server is reserved for any specific client. 
  • Is the application installed on the Client's computers while the database is hosted by Sherweb? (RDS-type operation)
    The only installed application is the RDP connection; everything else is hosted by Sherweb.

  • Is the application installed on your servers at Sherweb in the same location as the database? (TS-type operation)
    Yes, there is an SQL server for databases and 15 TS servers, to date, where Primmo is installed.
  • Will we have access to a web page from which we can launch the application? (RAPP-type operation)
    The existing web page is only used to download the RDP file that provides access to the environment.

Here are questions from our clients and their answers.

What will happen to our data history? Will there be a way to access it in another way? If so, how? 
The data, including your history, is always retained in the database. However, in compliance with Law 25, tools for anonymization and data cleansing will be available to you. It will be up to you to use them appropriately to comply with this law.

What will happen if, after a few years, for some reason, we decide not to use your system anymore? 
 Your data will be provided to you in the form of a .BAK file, which is a standard SQL server backup format. This file can be restored in the SQL server of your choice. Your data will be accessible through SQL queries and/or tools such as Power BI. If you no longer use Primmo, the license will be revoked, and the software will no longer have rights to access the data.

Could anyone in your organization "potentially" access our information for any reason? 
 The only individuals who could potentially access the data are part of Hopem's technical team. However, these accesses are controlled and documented. Access is only granted upon client request and approval. For example, in the case of an investigation request, the database might be collected for the investigation, and personally identifiable data will be encrypted.

What guarantees can you provide for the two previous points? 
In addition to the contractual agreement that outlines Hopem's obligations to our hosted clients, all employees are subject to a confidentiality clause.
